Job Description

A full-semester Social Worker position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Joliet, IL. This contract role is ideal for a professional dedicated to promoting student wellbeing and providing critical social services within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students across all grade levels.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources.
• Facilitate group sessions on topics such as social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work or related field.
