Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a social worker
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting, particularly with elementary students
• Strong understanding of child development and trauma-informed practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to understand student needs and identify appropriate interventions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, and academic challenges
• Collaborate with educators to create a supportive learning environment
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on social-emotional learning
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
