Pittsburgh Wire EDM Programmer / Operator Brunk Industries, Inc., a globally recognized company specializing in high precision metal components for the Medical Device Industry as well as other high-tech applications, is currently seeking a Wire EDM Programmer/Operator for our Pittsburg location. We have a culture built on innovation and excellence. Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy and quality on all jobs. Operate and understand the use of hand tools, grinding machinery, milling machinery, drill presses, lathe, band saw, heat-treating ovens, optical comparator, measuring devices, micrometers, calipers, and die hoists. Operate CNC and programming software and other related software. Possess tools of the trade. Perform mathematics and geometric functions and possess mechanical aptitude. Required Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and seek out sources for help when needed. Basic or above-average math skills in adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing in various increments. Ability to read and understand documents. Ability to program EDM machines. Education: Two years of verifiable EDM experience. On-going training on new machines/technology as required. Knowledge of Sodick WEDM machines and/or Esprit programming software preferred. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Work is in a manufacturing setting with noise and some grinding dust.
