Oracle EPM / Hyperion: Service Engineer

Austin, TX OR Fremont, CA (Onsite 5days/week)

Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our Oracle EDM, Oracle EPM Planning and Hyperion Planning/Hyperion Essbase/Hyperion Essbase Studio modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Hyperion Essbase and Oracle EPM planning modules.
• Experience in EPM data structures, calculations and business rules.
• Proficiency in Oracle database concepts and SQL queries.
• Experience with incident management tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, analyze, and prioritize EPM related support tickets.
• Identify the root cause of issues in EPM environments.
• Provide timely solutions to users.
• Implement and maintain EPM configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex EPM applications problems.
• Document resolution steps and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with engineering / application managers to resolve system issues.
• Support system upgrades and patches.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ year experience with Oracle EPM/Hyperion system.
• Knowledge of IBM Command center.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, not written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
