Human Resources Generalist
Location: Somerville, MA (Hybrid Schedule Available)

About the Role:In this vital role, you’ll support core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. You'll help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture while ensuring policies and practices align with organizational goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:Partner with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment efforts and onboard new staff
Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries
Assist in maintaining HRIS records and reporting
Support employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution processes
Coordinate compliance initiatives and help maintain HR policies and procedures
Champion equity, inclusion, and staff wellness initiatives
3+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally in a nonprofit or human services setting
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
