We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Product Compliance Project Contractor to support a critical regulatory compliance initiative. This temporary role will focus on ensuring our product documentation aligns with China RoHS requirements and later transition into managing a cross-functional program to address EU RoHS exemption phase-outs.

Also, this contractor will be responsible for identifying and completing critical PFAS related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: China RoHS Table Update Project

  • Coordinate with Technical Publications and China-based compliance teams to update China RoHS tables on our website.
  • Ensure product group tables reflect accurate EU RoHS exemption disclosures, using data stored in our compliance database (CMAP).
  • Review and validate over 300,000 product catalogs and associated components for compliance.
  • Collaborate with product owners to update EFUP (Environmentally Friendly Use Period) labels as needed.
  • Ensure all updates are completed ahead of the January 2026 regulatory deadline.

Phase 2: EU RoHS Exemption Replacement Program

  • Lead a cross-functional initiative to identify and replace lead in products currently using EU RoHS exemptions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, product management, and regulatory teams to remove or block non-compliant products and update CE marking accordingly.
  • Oversee compliance updates for approximately 200,000 catalogs and 30,000 components.
  • Ensure readiness for potential exemption expirations by December 2026.

Phase 3: Support PFAS

  • Identify critical PFAS activities
  • Execute critical PFAS activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or engineering.
  • Familiarity with China RoHS, EU RoHS, and PFAS regulations and exemption management.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise data management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with compliance databases such as CMAP.
  • Prior involvement in EFUP labeling or similar environmental compliance initiatives.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and meet tight regulatory deadlines.
