Job Title: EDM Machinist
Job Description

As an EDM Machinist, you will work with minimal supervision to set up and operate a variety of equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards for quality control and safety. You will play a critical role in the optimization of manufacturing processes and will assist in designing fixtures and determining process capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up a variety of equipment, including ECG (Electrochemical Grinding) and ECM (Electrolytic Cut Off Machine).
• Operate equipment as needed.
• Assist manufacturing and applications engineering in optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Follow documented processes to perform operations, ensuring specifications and quality control standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and internal work instructions, including inspections and process adjustments.
• Set up all safety devices and necessary support equipment, instructing operators on equipment and safety.
• Lead the work of subordinates when required.
• Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to resolve tooling or quality-related issues.
• Follow job-related instructions and perform additional duties as requested.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Wire EDM programming and machine setup.
• Ability to interpret and work within tolerances and blueprints.
• Experience in programming and setting up EDM machines, including program writing and fixture design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDM machine programming and setup.
• Previous experience in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Experience with various types of CNC-based equipment is preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rahway, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

In addition to your annual compensation, as a full-time exempt employee, you will be eligible to participate in our complete benefits program, which include:

• Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays
Benefit eligibility will begin first of the month following 30 days of employment.
